Today, thanks to our wonderful FOSSS, KS2 went to watch Ernie and the Sea of Ice at The Phoenix. They learnt all about the life, adventures and bravery of the Antarctic explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves! ❄️🐧 #findingthelight @stchris_trust pic.twitter.com/HqSuyS7bi1— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) December 12, 2025

Nursery and Reception had fantastic fun at their pyjama story time last tonight. They had some great acting out of the Gingerbread Man story and enjoyed listening to lots of other stories too. Last week, Nursery learned all about Anansi the spider. This is a traditional tale all the way from Africa. The class loved making spiders and learning about how cheeky Anansi the spider is! 🕷️ #findingthelight #flourishingcommunities @stchris_trust pic.twitter.com/GuSHkizAhr— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) December 11, 2025

A little bit of rain didn't stop Years 1 & 2 exploring our school grounds this week. With the help of Little Green Change (a fantastic environmental organisation), they planted some daffodil bulbs near our forest school area & learned about all about pollination. @stchris_trust— St. Sidwell's C of E (@stsidwellsce) Dec 4, 2025
