Exeter Blitz Memorial - Thursday 4th May 2017

Today marks 75 years since Exeter was bombed during the Blitz. To mark the occasion, Devon Life asked two pupils from St. Sidwell's to read the names of the 200 people that were killed in Exeter during the bombings. The two children went to the memorial in Princess Hay and confidently read the names. Devon Life recorded this and posted it on their Facebook Live. The link for the video is below, please take a moment to watch and remember those that died.

A big well done to the children who read so clearly and showed respect during the reading of the names - well done!
