Aims

Our school curriculum comprises all the learning and other experiences that we plan for our pupils.

An important part of our school curriculum is the national curriculum.

The national curriculum in England

The national curriculum provides our pupils with an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens.

Our school curriculum is focused on giving our pupils strong foundations in each of the subjects of the national curriculum.

In addition, at St Sidwell’s, we are building a curriculum that:

Equips all our pupils to read widely and with enjoyment
Celebrates and learns from diversity
Enacts our school values and Christian distinctiveness
