Why?

We want our pupils at St Sidwell's to learn Geography, so that:

• They develop curiosity and enthusiasm about the world, both locally and internationally, in order to make sense of the world as a diverse community
• They develop their understanding of how the environment changes both naturally and as a result of human activities and they understand their place in this dynamic environment
• They can explore the world through fieldwork to develop vocabulary and identify geographical features through first-hand experiences
