In our first meeting the children decided on the activities that they would like to do over the term. These included making daisy chains, owl hooters, minibeast hotels and clay faces, amongst many other ideas.

We had some great'teachers' who helped us have a go at hooting like an owl by using a wide blade of grass held between our thumbs. 

We have also had a go at making daisy chains, but the children found it hard to make the hole in the stem so we worked together using dandelions which have a wider stem. The Year 2 children were keen to measure the chains, building on their learning in class.
