Why?

We want our pupils at St Sidwells to learn Science, so that:

• They secure scientific knowledge through the specific disciplines of biology, chemistry and physics
• They ask questions and find answers about the world around them, including about nature and the processes and methods of scince. 
• They use different types of science enquiries to help them answer scientific questions
• They secure scientific knowledge to understand science and its uses today and for the future
• They enjoy learning about the world around them and about how science plays a role in almost everything they do
