Season’s Greetings from FOSSS!

We’re so excited to be taking KS2 children to the theatre this week! We’d love to hear your children’s feedback on this, and the Tap Dancing Mermaid show which was staged at school for KS1 and nursery last month.

We continue to fund Joy the gardener who is brilliant at engaging the children in the school garden on Friday lunchtimes; we’ve also planted over 200 Spring bulbs!

Of course, all this is reliant on fundraising and we thank you for your ongoing support. We completely understand that many parents do not have the capacity to offer much time to FOSSS. Here are some other ways you might like to show your support:

  • Donate jarbolas, bakes, raffles items, toys, games and books for the Christmas Fair (see upcoming Dojo messages for details of when to bring these into school)
  • Come for fun at the Fair on the 15th with great value festive activities and delicious food and drink. Raffle tickets will be sold on the day with lots of fabulous prizes up to £160 in value! Most activities just £1, Santa’s Grotto just £3!
  • Can’t make it to the Fair? We’d be very grateful for a seasonal donation to FOSSS, payable on the School Gateway.
  • Shop via the Easyfundraising app This raises money for FOSSS at no extra cost to you when you shop online. For example, insurance bought through Confused.com would result in an £18 donation, getting a Supermarket delivery - up to £5.50! Whether you’re on Amazon, Ebay, booking a holiday, hotel or arranging breakdown cover, please think to use this app.

There’s such a lot for our children to enjoy on the run up to Christmas at school, we wish everyone a really fun time over the next two weeks and a very happy holiday beyond!
